UNLOCK your fullest POTENTIAL
The Game Isn't Over Yet.
With approximately 1:14 left in Saturday’s Bedlam football game, I thought my Cowboys were going to blow it. Games are often won and lost within those last precious moments. But Saturday night, my Cowboys held strong. That’s what I want for you in the coming weeks, friends. Hold strong. The game isn’t over yet. In the midst of the holiday hustle + bustle, it’s easy to take your eyes off the prize. Pull out your 2021 vision board. What do you have left to complete? A Love Note to My Future Self
This started out as a “38 Things I’d Tell My Younger Self” blog. Then I remembered a recent conversation I had with my friend Jaime. You can’t go back to the old you. No matter how much you want it, she doesn’t exist anymore.
Clearing Your Calendar with Grace + Gratitude.
Some people create clutter in their homes. Other people create clutter on their calendars. Some people do both. Me - I’m guilty of cluttering my calendar. However, when our calendars become so cluttered with “stuff” it’s often hard to see how full our lives really are, let alone find gratitude in the busyness of the season. Give this exercise a try.
Soda or Water.
2020 was a doozy of a year that no one saw coming. How did you respond? Did you choose to show up as soda? Or water? Ask yourself these questions to find out. Remember, you always have a choice in your reactions. 💛
Remember.
My parents can easily recall where they were when news rang out of John F. Kennedy or Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassinations. The world stopped. It weeped and mourned great loss. Accusations were hurled while man hunts and political turmoil ensued. Not much different than 25 years ago, or even today. While some will remember the act, many will remember the response. How are you responding?
