You Matter.

What is it you most want to accomplish before the year ends? Dust off your vision board and your 2020 goals because here’s the thing - we have just under 100 days left in 2020.

That’s a lot of time! So much can happen in 100 days.

You get to choose how you show up for this last quarter. Show up for yourself, friend.

To achieve your goal and make those dreams become reality, you need to get someone else involved.

According to a study from the American Society of Training and Development, if you set a goal and then announce your goal to at least one other person (like a friend, colleague, or coach), and you tell that person you’re strongly committed to make this happen, then you become 65% more likely to accomplish your goal.

As if that isn’t enough, making a consistent appointment with this person to discuss and work on your goal (like a coworking date, yoga class, or weekly phone check in) then your odds of accomplishing your goal rise up to 95%.

You read that right - you’re 95% more likely to achieve your goal with a little accountability.

It’s time to find an accountability partner and make a plan to meet up consistently.

The person doesn’t have to have the same goals as you. You can be launching your side hustle while your partner trains for a marathon. The task doesn’t matter as much as small, consistent, intentional steps.

You can still meet up (virtually or in person) and make the most of your time together. Encourage each other. Keep each other on track.

Even better? Make room in your budget for professional coaching. Working with a coach differs from partnering with a friend because coaches have special training to help you work through mental or emotional blocks (like stuck-ness, procrastination, avoidance, etc) that hold you hostage. Coaching is an opportunity for you to explore how your thoughts and beliefs reflect the life you live now and can limit you from living your desired life.

Whether it’s a friend, coworker, mentor, accountability group, coach, or all of the above, one thing is certain - to accomplish your goals before the end of the year and set yourself up for a strong 2021, you need to get other people involved.

2020 isn’t over yet! There's still time. You can still write the book, lose the weight, run the marathon, enjoy family dinners, make the money and conquer all of your goals.

We’re better together, sweet friend!

There's a reason the idea to hire a coach keeps coming up for you. Coaching is a powerful medium to finally make the changes in your life you desire. It’s an investment in you and your happiness. I don't take that investment lightly!
