Controlling Other People.

I was scrolling Facebook when I stumbled upon a post that stopped me mid-scroll.

A woman was seeking advice on dealing with a coworker who she said is “very bitter and really embraces the “bit$%” mentality.”

The original Facebook poster said the coworker makes it difficult to work with her.

Listen, I get it. I’ve had similar coworkers in the past.

Annnnnd, If I’m being honest, I’ve probably been that coworker in a former life.

Here’s the hard truth - it's actually not the other person that's making work difficult. 🤯

Yep, I said that.

Think about it for a moment. That coworker is just being herself, right, wrong or indifferent.

It’s the Facebook poster’s thoughts around the coworker's attitude that are causing the frustration.

We can’t control other people’s behavior.

What we can do is control our experience of that person.

That’s the power of managing your thoughts.

You recognize how they shape your experience of any situation.

What narrative are you telling yourself today that is causing you frustration?

Reframing the way you experience a scenario opens up a whole host of opportunities for you to experience something different.

In the upcoming Mind Your Mindset Masterclass, you’ll challenge the thoughts that are holding you back.

That means you will look at your scenario from multiple angles.

And the real value is choosing a truth that moves you into a whole new life.

Are you ready to change your experience of the world around you?
