Unintended Destinations.

Have you ever done this?

I was driving home from the office recently when I got a call from my sister. We were chatting away about Christmas lists, travel plans and such. Before I realized it, my Mini was safely parked in its spot in the garage.

I hung up the phone with my sister, walked into my house and immediately remembered I was supposed to have met my girlfriends for dinner.

Tell me I'm not the only one who has done this! 😫

You had every intention of going one place but then ended up in a completely different spot.

At the end of the day, my car automatically turned west to head home instead of east toward the restaurant. And because I was distracted by the phone call, I didn’t even realize my mistake!

That’s what happens when you live your life on autopilot. You often end up at an unintended destination.

Maybe your distraction looks like the newest Netflix show or juicy gossip from your neighbors. Maybe it’s catching the flu, important deadlines or kids’ sports.

Distractions come in all forms and throw you off course. They keep you from growing and reaching goals, and often keep you stuck, unhappy and in a drama triangle.

Picture yourself walking into your family holiday party next year a changed person. Your smile lights up your face as you place the gifts under the tree. And your aunt can’t stop talking about how you’re glowing as she hugs you tightly. You’re happier, more confident and, most importantly, at peace.

That life is not only probable, friend. It’s possible.

Ask me how.
